This is a collection of odd stories and bazar pictures with a bit of normal stuff mixed in. It is really just my playground. It’s where I try new code and explore technics that are used on other web sites I build. To start with all I wanted was a simple web site, and it did start out that way. But then I was shown Coldfusion.

I am now addicted to writing Coldfusion code. When I was learning Coldfusion I wanted to write a web forum. And I got pretty far until I ran across Community Server, a “install and run” web blog, forum, photo gallery and some other stuff. But it was written ASP.NET so I would have to learn a new language if I wanted to customize the site.

After running my site on Community Server for about three years I had it with ASP.NET. It’s a pain in the ass to work with and Community Server just would’t let me design it the way I wanted. So now I’m back to Coldfusion. Here’s the twist, all data is written to the Community Server database but the front end is all Coldfusion reading the Community Server database.

So you see, this site is just an experiment in Coldfusion on top of Community Server coding. Most of the text content is just crap I typed to make it look like I have content so I could see how the layout looked when it was filled up. I know there is gibberish generators but that’s just not the same.

I’m a little more serous about the digital art and photographs. This site also gives me a place to stash this stuff plus it’s added content to fill in the spaces.
